1. Who we are

H.G. Logistics ("H.G. Logistics," "we," "us," or "our") is a China purchasing agency and U.S. third-party logistics (3PL) provider based in Orange County, California. We help U.S. product companies source and buy from suppliers in China, coordinate inbound inventory, and receive, store, and fulfill orders in the United States.

This Privacy Policy applies to our website at hg.myamazeai.com (the "Site") and to personal information we collect when you contact us, request a consultation, or do business with us. It does not apply to websites or services run by other companies, even if we link to them.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill in our consultation form, email us, call us, or sign an agreement with us, you may share:

  • Contact details, such as your name, work email, phone number, company name, and website or store address.
  • Business details, such as your product category, monthly order volume, sales channels, supplier setup, purchase volumes, and the problems you want help with.
  • Commercial documents you choose to send us, such as specifications, quotes, purchase orders, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Billing details needed to invoice you and collect payment. We do not ask for card numbers through the Site.

Our consultation form does not store your answers on our web server. When you press "Send request," your own email app opens with your answers filled in, and the information reaches us only if you send that email.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, referring page, and the date and time of the visit. This data is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and fix problems.

Information from other sources

We may receive business contact information from referral partners, trade events, or public business sources such as company websites and professional networks.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Reply to your questions and consultation requests.
  • Assess whether our services are a good fit for your business and prepare proposals and quotes.
  • Provide our services, including supplier communication, purchasing, production follow-up, import coordination, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
  • Send invoices, collect payment, and keep business records.
  • Send service updates and, where allowed, occasional business messages about our services. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
  • Comply with legal, tax, customs, and regulatory obligations, and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Data we handle for clients

When we fulfill orders for a client, we receive information about that client's end customers, such as names, shipping addresses, phone numbers, and order contents. We process this information on behalf of our client and only to receive, pack, ship, track, and handle returns for those orders.

For that data, our client is responsible for its own privacy notice to its customers. If you bought from a brand that uses H.G. Logistics and have a question about your data, please contact that brand first. We will support the brand in responding to your request.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run our business and deliver our services:

  • Suppliers and factories in China, to request quotes, place purchase orders, and coordinate production. We share business contact and order details, not more than the task needs.
  • Freight carriers, customs brokers, and parcel carriers, to move, clear, and deliver goods.
  • Service providers who support us, such as website hosting, email, warehouse and inventory software, accounting, and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Authorities, when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of H.G. Logistics, our clients, or others.
  • A buyer or successor, if we are involved in a merger, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to this policy.

6. Cookies and third-party services

The Site does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. Google's use of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

The Site links to third-party sites, such as Trustpilot and social networks. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. In general:

  • Enquiries that do not turn into a working relationship are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Client, order, and invoice records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and then for the period required by tax, customs, and accounting rules.
  • Server logs are kept for a short period set by our hosting provider, unless needed to investigate a security issue.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the Site, access controls on our systems, and limits on who can see client data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our work involves suppliers and partners in China. This means business information you share with us may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from the United States and China, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. We share only what each task needs and ask partners to protect it.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Opt out of marketing messages at any time.
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email us using the details below. We will confirm your identity before acting on a request and reply within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you, and we may ask for proof of that authority.

11. California residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may give you the rights described above. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of information listed in section 2 (identifiers, commercial information, and internet activity information) for the business purposes in section 3, and disclosed them to the recipients in section 5. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require an opt-out.

12. Children

Our Site and services are meant for businesses. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
